With over 25 years’ experience across New Zealand’s construction and development industry, I’ve worked alongside some of the country’s largest developers and leading contractors. I’ve operated on all sides of the table — client, consultant, and main contractor — as well as independently, giving me a well-rounded understanding of how projects truly get delivered.

I began my career at the coalface on building sites before progressing through design, project coordination, and project-management delivery roles. This background has shaped a practical, grounded understanding of what it takes to deliver successful projects. It enables me to cut through unnecessary layers, identify potential roadblocks early, maintain momentum, and stay innovative — because every project is unique.

David James Project Execution was established to provide direct, accountable project delivery without unnecessary layers. I’m personally involved at every stage — steering the process toward the required outcome, mitigating risks early, maintaining momentum, and ensuring each project is executed with care, clarity, and precision.
